I have a plastic tool carrier, with 8 little drawers in the bottom. I also have a wire caddy, invented by a member of Mohawk Hudson B. S., whose father was a plumber.

Real great idea for a tool box... I also seemed to like the one that Jim Lewis has.... mine looks similar but is a plastic version of the same and also looks my age....

Can't tell if there is something specifically made to keep the boxes stacked, but if there is not, I would consider weaving the straps into the hand holes of the bottom box, out the hand holes of the middle box and then back into the top box. This would prevent the middle or bottom boxes from sliding out.

Beautifully simple construction just the same!
