Really big Fuchsia

Order of the day was to clear a garden today and hedge out at the front.

With skillful use of the Community Payback workforce, I could be getting a few good bits in the next couple of weeks. The hedge to come out is Lonicera, Privet and Hawthorn. Faces censored to protect the not so innocent.

Before the heavens opened and we had to call it a day, I did manage to excavate this rather large Fuchsia.

Too late to pot up as it was dark by the time I got home. I collected some hardy Fuchsias last year and they grew very well, even though they had little root on them. Can these Hardy Fuchsias be kept or grown indoors? My thinking is just to get it through one Winter indoors, to put on some roots and then it will live outside

Hello Sam. Yes, they are on the large side. I have another three trees earmarked for collection and they are also very big too. If I don't use them, perhaps someone else will. All my collects this year are rescues from the rubbish heap.

Seems like your collection is coming along fine. I never had material like that when I started. Don't get too much too soon though, you don't want to end up as overcrowded as me.
