Need help with vision of first tree
Hey everyone im very new to bonsai, and this forum. I have always been intrigued by ancient asian culture especially bonsai. I have done alot of research, but still feel like I know nothing. I got this tree on my way back home from florida. I have stared at this tree for hours, and I can't see the final design. Can anyone please help me come up with anything, The trunk is about a inch in diameter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Howzit,
For now give it a lot of sun. Feed it well and give it a few more years to grow and then come back to it again.

Sometimes, design is come by looking again and again everyday. One day you will understand and get an idea.
While you try to understand it, read and see a lot for inspiration.

Thanks for the advice everyone, the part that I was finding difficult was the y in the trunk. But someone in another forum suggested going for semi cascade, which is what I think ill do. For now though I'm just gonna let it grow for awhile. I got 3 baby japanese maples for free this weekend so I'm got those to work on aswell. Thanks again everyone.

Howzit,
What might be a good idea is next season repot it into a grow box or a larger garden pot and let it grow out for a few more years. Just a thought.
