I need ID on this pot
Hello. To one of you pot experts, I need help in IDing this pot. I got it several years ago at my club. It's fairly large and surprisingly not very heavy for it's size (18.5"x 13").
This is what the pot looks like.
And this is the stamp on the bottom. I apologize in advance if the orientation of the characters is incorrect
Thank you!

This won't be much help, but I think it's Chinese. Japanese pots (Tokoname) usually have one chop, or a chop and a signature. My guess is that these are the artist's name and kiln or city.

Thank you Russell! Is there a chance that it may be Japanese from another region other than Tokoname??

Probably not. Sure, pots are made in places other than Tokoname, but you're not likely to run across one unless you're in Japan and know what you're buying. And the 2 chop thing is pretty common on quality Chinese pots.
Have you checked out this site??? http://bonsaipotplaza.com/ If you're going to find it anywhere it will be here. Jose Luis knows a lot about pots, especially Chinese and Taiwanese. Maybe he'll see this.
