Double Work, in the Portuguese way.
Hi everybody
Last Friday, me and some friends pic up 2 plant to do the first style.
this is the result, with some good wine and beer to.(Portuguese wine off course).
The final result.
the first one (Buxus sempervirens) "the ugly one"
some work in the dead wood
put in some wire
And the final
The "ugly one" is not so ugly now
The other one is a juniper phoenicia var. turbinata, "long fingers"
this is a very strong plant with an amazing dead wood
Nuno in the first plane, Pedro in the second and the dog waiting for a Pringles
for now this is the result: I do not remove much green mass because have thin branches and need to grow to enlarge de diameter and maybe next year the result of styling have must more convinced.=)
Hope you enjoy.

Hi Variato
Nice yamadori pieces. I like the juniperus phaoenicia. But I think that some of the 'nails' on the fingers need some triming in the future. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. I know for sure that soon in Portugal you will be having a bonsai nursery.

Hi cosmos
I don't know if a nursery is a good thing for me.
I'm in a bonsai just to enjoy all the process.
For me this little moment with the friends and some trees is the best thing!
Thanks for your reply!

Hi Viriato, great to see you here on IBC. The trees will have a good development as as you started the first styling well. Good work on the deadwood and excellent placement of the foliage. Are the trees yours or your friends?

Very impressive work and some very nice trees. Especially like what you have done on exposed roots of boxwood. You took unbalanced 'mess' and gave nice flow. Keep us posted about this and other trees you have. Dustin Mann

Great work on the Buxus in short amount of time. You have given it very interesting movement. The trunks are usually very straight, hard to bend branches without slowing sap flow. Leaves very small ,a plus. My limited experience was very slow growers. Dustin

Hi Gesualdi
When you came back again to Portugal tell ivo and visit me and my plants.
Martin, this is what I want to say.The mistake was...(2 = two, and not the second) Sorry.
