rotten single trunk mulberry now a twin trunk
the base was neglected and got rotten, used to be a single massive base
removal of soft rotten tissues
lime sulfur application
did some shari as well on the "stick" apex
the mulberry bush the mulberry bush... got a question though? how can i retain the present appearance of a two tree coming from a single tree, after a re pot? the smaller trunk seems to be fragile. any help guys?

The canopy look good - as a single unit. The tall straight trunk is a bit of distraction even with the carving.
As for the base you might want to bring the small trunk in closer to the larger portion (if its not too brittle) Another option is to find some durable driftwood and make an inserted jin.

thanks. chopping off the upper part of the trunk and bringing the trunk closer together would have a more compacted look. il consider that options in the next re pot.
