Strange...
I'm so used to using my credit card everywhere I go in Europe, that sounds like one century ago to me
I've never crossed the Atlantic though, one never knows how different customs may be in another part of the world.
Yet, I remember that last year, when i went to Catalunya, people preferred cash.
Well, if they want to play it personal, why not after all ?...
But from a French (and european) point of view, I find it rather funny that people carry banknotes with them.
Makes me think of that excellent TV serial, with "scientist" cow-boys in a train, can't remember the name...

I can usually get a better deal if I have cash in hand the transaction is immediate and they do not have to wait for the transaction to clear.

I think it's time Seth learned the Scottish trick with money.
By all means have banknotes in your pocket.
But make sure there is a piece of elastic connecting them.

"Wild Wild West" maybe.
I know of one Bonsai Nursery just north of Tampa at Dade City, FL I will log out get their web site and/or email and sent it to you.
If you want to drive across the state (about 3 hours) the BSOB is having a meeting on the 21st with a demo by Mary Madison on Buttonwoods.
I would be happy to be your east coast guide if you are interested. Contact me with a private message.

Tom Brantly who owns "Great American Bonsai" in Anthony, Florida, north of Ocala has a real full time job and was trying to sell everything a few months ago. I have not heard from him since.
