Hi dont you just hate it when you go to the trouble of posting
your work and dont get any feedback ,anyway great
start to your Yew with great potential ,agreed jin/shari the top
stub and remove the first three branches perhaps to jin.

Sorry, must have missed this one. Another fine bit of design. How long have you been working with bonsai?

T HAT IS the best looking yew i have seen in a long time!!!! it looks like a tree and to me that is a good thing... please remove the knot no jin. the tree looks too much alive to have dead parts..this is only my opion...good job!! john

I generally like the tree. Two little distractions in my opinion:
1. Maybe a few too many S curves?
2. The first branch, bottom right, seems to be to the back, and generally the first branch on a tree is not to the back.
Still a pleasant tree to look at. Enjoy.
