Re: Pinus sylvestris Austria
Milan,
Beautiful work in such short time! Suggestions? For me, nothing more than a smaller, more delicate pot.
Congratulations on such a stunning bunjin, and thanks for sharing!

Hello Milan, I like your tree very much. I do agree with Russell that it is time for a more suitable container. My preference would be something more rustic...textured perhaps with soft(rounded) lines.
again nice work!!

Thanx all
This pot is only for training. My friend is making original pot for this pine, now.

It's gr8 Milan. But for a literati, the crown is still too big - in my opinion. Maby if you remove the second right branch...

Very beautiful tree.
@ the rest : you have to know this tree is still in training.
So it's a little early to judge now if the crown is to big if the tree is still in training and further improvement will come in some years.

Having seen the tree today I think it is great - the crown is just right. I don't feel that a literati needs to be anorexic - it has to be healthy to be stylish. Plus the pot is a fantastic match with the tree - I hope to have one just like it.
Thanks Milan and Tomas!

Very nice tree. Love that trunk! Maybe the top could be thinned out a little, but I think that's a judgement call. It works as is...

It always makes me happy to see my pot match with an excelent tree. In this case I knew it before it happened , this is a commission pot.

The tree looks great - love the deadwood placement. And a great pot.
As for your generous gift of the pot's twin - the pot is still a virgin, waiting for the right mate.
