privat bonsai
Hi ,I have just repotted this privat . What do you think ? any advice on styling and such would be most welcome ....John

I think that at this stage of its career as a bonsai, it needs a somewhat larger pot.
I'd also cut off that curlicue at the top, leaving maybe an inch of stub. Let it grow more slowly. Otherwise, with a privet it will stay skinny forever. Ditto to a lesser extent with the branches.
Very nice trunk. Be careful of the chop site. Privet wood rots easily and quickly. Use a wood hardener to slow it down.
