Azalea fever
This sure is the hightime of azalea blooming. And mine do too; as much as never before.
The first one rhododendron indicum 'asahi-no-hikari' which you could see at the EBA convention in Schwitzerland.
And this is a rhododendron indicum 'bya kuren' which I like to call ''lungs'' because its shape.
So, I hope you like them as I do. Tell me what you think.

Hi Nik.
I think they are beautiful, thanks for sharing. 'Asahi-no-hikari', has always been one of my favorites.
If anyone has ever wondered about those Japanese names, this one is "the light of dawn". Very appropriate!

Howzit Mike,
Well, I'm just a little old Hawaiian boy from the islands with a lot of "Aloha" that I want to share with everyone that I come into contact with. That's why I love working at my part-time job as a tour driver. I get to meet a lot of people from around the world and share that Aloha with them and hope that they to take that same Aloha with them when they go back home. The same with this forum, I have made a lot of friends and learned a lot about bonsai and try to give back that same Aloha that everyone has given to me. Not to mention that I love azaleas too!! (Woo-Hoo!!)
A Hui Hou,
-Tim
(P.S. Sorry Nik for going off topic.)
