Fertilizing junipers
Hey, today I found some organic 5-5-3 tomato and vegetable plant food, would this be ok to feed to my new junipers right now? and also how much? Also, I have some 12-4-8 fertilizer, would it not be best to wait and give this to the junipers next spring? Thanks for the help you guys!

I'd go with the 5-5-3 feed in preference to the other . i use 20-20-20 soluble at the moment , because it was cheap

I don't personally stick to one type of feed. I have about five different types, organic and chemical. Very few feeds have all the nutrients and minerals a tree needs, so mix and match is my advice.

Your trees do not care -- just so they get doses of NPK and trace elements. As to how much to use . . . Read The Label.
