50% removal on my huge English Oak and reshaped.
Had been undertaking some reshaping this past few weeks as the leaves were so tiny (easier to see what you are doing) Nuff was enough and today with cold beer in hand I worked for around four hours to improve the overall look. I am pleased hope you think so as well. The tree was collected around fourteen years ago in North Wales, had been naturally nibbled by sheep. Took a rear facing branch off just above soil level which has healed beautifully, the branch was 16" in circumference. Chainsaw took care of it and finished by hand.
40" tall, trunk base 24" circumference, weight two hundred weight. Mica pot but going into a commissioned drum pot next year.

This then prior to today's styling with some branches removed and around 50% possibly more removed in total.

Nice work. I'd like to see the bottom branches stick out beyond the crown to give it a more triangular silhouette, but not by much.
