Anyone have any experience with Yezo Spruce(Picea jezoensis)
I live in the northeast (Connecticut) and was wondering if anyone had any stories (good or bad) about the yezo spruce. I found a cool one with many branches in a local nursery, but I don't want to bother if they don't like New England.

Hi Chris, I think if you bought it at a local nursery you will be ok, as they usually only invest in trees that do well in their area. The tree is closely related to the Sitka Spruce that grows here in the Northwest, a cold rainforest environment.
