Juniperus - First Styling
Dear bonsai friends. I like to show you the first styling progress from my Juniperus. I worked on the tree on a workshop which was organized in our club in Slovenia tree weeks ago. Today I finally managed to finish the first stage of the design...i hope you like it.

Excellent first styling Roland. Really like the placement and balance. Is the deadwood still green? If it is, it will be a lot easier to work on now than when its hard and dry.

This is looking really really promising, Roland. Well done so far.
I look forward to seeing the next phase as I'm sensing that you will be doing some carving.

Nice work Roland...really good job.
Now may very well be the right time for rest and rehabilitation...let it regain strength...
Always remember...and don't ever forget that Bonsai is a trip that requires time and patience…welcome aboard and enjoy the journey.
Patience is the key...get another tree to work on.
Pat…mounted on my trusty stead, riding off wildly in all directions…

Thank you for all replays...
Will unfortunately the deadwood is dry so I think that the only option is carving which is planned in the next step as Fiona already mentioned.
Przemek thanks for the virtual. I agree and have the same feeling that there is a bit too much on it...but I think that I will go with a less radical change...not shore how much is too much
Maybe like this
Or this
Bunny I will post a picture from the top later today...

I agree with Przemek- the second option is much better. I must say that created a beautiful tree from the average bush

Re: Juniperus - First Styling
Tanks for you replay.
When I look at the virtual photos the solution is clear..The left branch on the bottom of the tree must go, but when I look at the tree in reality the tree shows me that the branch should stay...so I’m not shore what to do...for now I will leave the branch and make the decision after I will finish the dead wood.
