I paid for Trident maple saplings and got Red maples (acer rubrum). Seller will not respond to my emails. Others have got the wrong trees also. Beware this seller! Evil or Very Mad

I had the same experience with this seller. I forgot they sent the wrong trees last year --- and ordered another 10 trident maples from him Suspect again this year! I can't even grow the red maples here!

That vendor may simply be incredibly stupid. Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil Suspect

I can't even grow the red maples here!

Why? They grow all over coastal Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida.

Actually, I have them in a big styrofoam box to see what they will do. The tridents do well here. Japanese maples don't do well at all. They don't like to be this close to the salt air-- I'm half a mile from the Gulf. I did send a couple of messages to this seller. No answer either time.
