A Couple of Procumbens Junipers
Here's two of my procumbens junipers that I have been working on for some time now and as they thin out they really make the time and effort worth it. I never really took a liking to the procumbens juniper until I saw some at a bonsai nursery with the mature foliage like these. The juvenile foliage isn't very impressive, but given time and a determination, they should revert to the mature foliage. The problem is they all too often want to revert back to juvenile again. I guess it's all part of the challenge.

Beautiful trees, with interesting trunks. I must admit that I used to have the same feelings towards this species. I love their vigor, and their growth pattern.
