Casuarina looking for better style

This casuarina has been 10 years old, I've got from my friend. I need some helps to restyle for better casuarina. 1 month ago I have done cutting the branch as attached pictures. I attached previous pictures before I did the cutting, and I did the grafting. which is the better view it would be?
Please help me to style better and Thanks for the idea.

The foliage and branches are a bit leggy. I'm not sure how readily these bud back.

I tend to think small, anyway, and I think you have a nice shohin here -- especially considering how easily you can shorten needles on a Casuarina.
