Birch Group
A bought a new pot for my group planting of birch trees and repotted over the weekend. They were previously in a plastice cat litter tray. The new pot is a bit smarter I think.
These trees are a variety of bitch called Mt Apoi. A Janpanese variety that grows to only about 1 metre tall. I collected the seeds from the parent trees about 5 or 6 years ago. They haven't gone silver as yet. This is my first forest group and I had really enjoyed the replanting process. Still some work to do on the branches and unfortunately one tree has some bad wire marks. I shall have to collect some more seeds and grow a replacement. All good fun though.

Very nice! I’d really like to see this in leaf, What’s the chances? Also do they suffer with any branch dieback at all?
