Is this an early peter Krebs pot?
Hi,
I hope you can help me.
I recently bought this fine pot.
I am hoping it is an early Peter Krebs, is that right? Either way I bought it because I liked it.
It has an inscription in german, plus a chop that I think is Peter's
Can anyone translate for me please?
I have been searching for this pot for a few years. I plan to use the pot with a hawthorn.

Hi Jeremy,
Where did you get this pot from?
Yes, it is an old pot of me. I myself have only a few of these old pots.
I am glad that you have this pot
.A haiku on the bottom of the pot:
The winter trees
From old, old times
Echoes are
Issa
I hope Google has correctly translated everything
regards
Peter

I bought the pot from a trader at Noelanders XI, sorry I can't remember his name. (I expect Tony T. will likely know who, as he bought a set of your pots from him.)
Thank you. I am very happy as well, as will the tree I pot in it.peter krebs wrote:I am glad that you have this pot
The haiku is very fitting as I hope to use your pot with my developing winter image hawthorn.
I promise to take very good care of your fine pot.

Its Timmermans alright but I thought his first nam was Jean Pierre (but I could be wrong)
2 of the krebs pots went to Denmark, 1 at my place planted with a Acer beurgerianum on rock.
I still cant believe the low prices he sold them for

I have three of Peters collectors pots from Noelanders (I bought five, Andy has one, Terry foster another and I am keeping two) I am willing to let one of them go to an IBC member for the same price I purchased. If you are interested, PM me and I will send you photos, I would not normally 'sell' on IBC but this is ONLY for IBC members.

Hi Jeremy,
thank you for the beautiful photos.
The arrangement looks really good. Tree and bowl can now grow old together.
I wish you continued success with your bonsai.
