Re: Pinus mugo 2004
You're always posting so many beautiful trees, how many total in your collection?

Hi Jeffrey, ndleong and hibonsai
Thank you very much for yours very nice copliments.
hibonsai - Tree is quite enough. My gallery is trying to keep in the future of 30 trees. Home is still about 120 trees on sale for clients-seminarians. I work on many trees my friend Mirek and other clients. Here at IBC, are my trees and trees my friend Mirek. Only a few other's clients.

Amazing progression Pavel, I like it a lot. I can't explain exactly but the tree just does it for me, the style and the feeling the trees dynamic gives. Very inspirational, keep up the sperb work. Wiring within a couple of days??

Re: Pinus mugo 2004
Am I way off base and lacking any kind of clue with respect to bonsai? I would take Pavel's pine over Kobayashi's each and every time if given the choice.... I find it just does something for me when I look at it. The movement is great and I love to see the branches and trunk as we are able to do so while still having nice foliage pads. I know no besides pine queen is making the comparison for the most part, but I guess I want to make clear how much I like this pine. Well done as always Pavel--love your work.

Re: Pinus mugo 2004
Pavel, I admire your work.
Sometimes, for a split second, I think "What is he doing now?!". But then the last foto always shows some very solid insight in bonsai styling. I can only hope to ever come close to the trees you grow.
Respect!

I just have to insert here because I have had the same thoughts over the years; I wish I had trees like these. We, my friend, are wishing for the wrong thing. We can have trees like these, what we don't have is the vision to visualize the possibilities and maybe the technique to achieve those visions. I have come to the conclusion, in lacking the resources to travel where I can get advanced training, that it is necessary to think and see beyond what I have always done and challenge myself to try those things I have not done before but have seen them done. In that, I know as remarkable as some of these transformations are they are not magic and I too can do this. Wishing no longer plays into tmy thinking,------doing something does, even if I fail a time or two.

Hi Rudi, Yamasuri, Dick and Vance
Thank you very much for yours very nice coments and compliments. I apreciate that.
Vance - Your words are the same, as part of my bonsai - life. I have not traveled a long, long time I see it. Just worked and worked. Alone. Big turnaround for me meant personal experience. I saw a demo Noelanders Marc-work of his great phasing branch. The second demo was Hotsumi Terakawa demo-its distinctive bend thick branches. That was my big break. Then I said to myself. They're just people like me. They only have more experience, knowledge and especially experience. I began to study more and more work. And I think the results are coming.
Greetings Pavel

This tree is absolutely beautiful. It is powerful, yet graceful and elegant. Even the full 360 view is striking.
