Re: My little helper
Forget the cat, the more impressive item is the very understanding spouse that will allow serious bonsai work in the dining room.

I almost forgot, Boris and Panda, caused some bonsai-and pot-damage in their younger years

Re: My little helper
Have any of these little ones ever done damage to your trees? Mine bowled of a few young trees darting after a crow... like a dog chancing a car, I don't think she would know what to do if she actually got it!

Hi Rob... Carolyn was away for the weekend... so.... the only 'evidence' is THIS FORUM...
As for the great Scrabble massacre it was rather frantic... "take two" a truly fantastic version of Scrabble that my family plays ... ask Peter Chan just how passionate I am about Scrabble... I have even taken money off him at a game

You are all so lucky to have such great helpers.
Unfortunately my helpers are intermittent, spider mites!

She has trampled, gnawed, and slobbered on all of my trees.. She is the botanical butcher. But, we call her Athena.

That first pup of yours seems very concerned. Or your holding a huge tender loin for pictures sake.

Re: My little helper
Handsome labs, John! I love labs, but these two look a bit too smart for my tastes. I prefer big, slow dogs that like to sleep alot...more my speed . Here are my two assistants, Norman and Mr. Bobo. Back in his younger days, Mr. Bobo had a penchant for pruning stock growing out in the backyard. Back in the day, he was 150 pounds and prefered to travel from one place to another via the most direct route, which was usually through or over my in ground trees . Norman is Mr. Bobo's "mini-me", if you will. His job is to pick up the pruned branches and turn them into mulch . Nick, the handsome fellow in the middle, is unfortunately no longer with us.
