What do you see?
This picture stone was collected in Switzerland at the foot of mount Titliss around ten years ago. It sits on top of the fireplace and I’ve yet to get my arse in gear and make a stand for it though I’ve recently bought some dark wood for the purpose so out with the Dremel Hooray!
Anyway…….what do you see?

Re: What do you see?
Hi Fuzzy,
I see a tree in a pot that is a little under-potted, aka a bonsai.
Can the stone be tipped forwards a little? Will that change the image?

I see a scary tree with a meat cleaver. Not as dangerous as a pig with a flicknife

wild beast eating
i see a snow leopard or jungle cat eating/attacking something.
edit: for a slightly less disturbing image, the same animal is lapping water from a small pond with some slight water ripples.

Re: What do you see?
The stone's pattern recalls the volcanic island Sakurajima from two perspectives. In one perspective is the distant cloud plume seen during eruptions as witnessed from the air above the mainland at Kagoshima. Another perspective suggests the ragged cliff-edge & peaks extending for considerable distance as seen from the lip of the caldera. Somewhere, I have photos... but the internet offers better. Here are two links: Sakurajima1 & Sakurajima2 .
Days before visiting Kagoshima (10 years ago), I'd spent a week exploring Kyoto with suiseki enthusiasts Craig Hunt & Lynn Boyd. I wish we had shared these views, there.

I see a Aborigine or African-looking mask and Mt. Fuji with a sunrise behind it, surrounded by clouds, look closely and you'll be surprised to see it.

Re: What do you see?
Just looking at this again I suddenly see a boy and his father. The boy is in the center of the white and he is wearing a hood. His balding father is taller and wearing a slightly open robe. He is just behind his son slightly to the viewers right.

Hello Fuzzy,
i see a person with a big noose, sad mouth, crying.
The heads is in the square spaces.
The cloud from the neck and above the head is like "happyness" or "freedom".
Kind regards
Morea
