A remarkable bonsai collection
During my visit to the recent bonsai meeting in Bangkok, Thailand the convetnion had an occasion to visit several private bonsai collections. One of the most wonderful bonsai collections belongs to Montri Sukermsongchai. He is the past president of the Thai Bonsai Association and an avid bonsai collector and enthusiast. You can view some of his collection at

Hope you enjoy the visit.

Wow! Now there's a member of the elite!
Does he actually DO bonsai? Or just collect?
No need for a ladder for any of MY trees.
Merry Christmas

Hi Jim, Ed and Tina,
Montri has several collections of many hundreds of trees. He has more than one crew working on trees under his direction. He has a good eye and is able to direct his many workers to tend to the hours of watering, wiring, unwiring etc.
I just wish that all of us could be there for many months to absorb all the knowledge and beauty.
Merry Christmas to you all and hoping for a healthy and prosperous New Year.
