Re: Pinus sylvestris 2005 - "Transformations "
Hi all.
After two years I decided to change. I tried to highlight the new shape of the trunk.

Judging by the one sided root system easily seen in the first photo, it looks like you have got some major rootsystem jiggling to do there to achieve your projected vision for this tree.
Do you think it will work and if so how lon will you wait, 2 years?
Personally i liked the first image a bit more, it reminded me of another tree!
regards Nick

Hi Nick . The roots might not be a problem. If I get a suitable pot , I will transplant in the spring.

Yes, I allso think the first style was more suitable because of the roots. But I like them both. Anyway, great work!

Hi Pavel,
Nice material that offers a few options, I like the new front, but also the back side beause of the trunk movement. Great job documenting the changes.

Hi all bonsai friends.
Unfortunately, in the spring of 2010 I decided to work on the original intent. After restyling nebari would suffer and strain after transplanting. That was my big argument. So I let the tree grow freely. In September, I worked for important new bending strain. I removed the wedge wood and the tribe withdrew. Later, I just edited the old bends and height of the upper trunk. I arose very interesting and compact base of the tree. Now it will need to think about what shape the crown to the trunk. I'll be happy for your tips.

Pavel,
I really like the last pic you posted. The tree shows lots of movement. If this was an 8 o'clock position I'd like to see how the 7 o' clock position looks. Do you have a pic from that side?
Here is a quick virt of what I see (of course I know the tree is going to be much nicer when you position the branches):

Hi all friends.
At the end was enough to settle a few branches.
I think that a small change in the concept tree is better.

Hi Pavel...I was waiting something like virtualized Dorothy in her first picture. Your top too hide top of tree .....isnt it pity ? I think that first curve to right and space in bending woulud see.

Hi Jun and Mohan
Thank you for your nice coment.
Hi Dorothy.
Thank you for your nice replies and very nice virtuals. Yes, it is my final version. But better quality at a time. Today I am very happy.
Hi Will.
I'm glad you're here.
This place is a problem from the beginning. All the branches grow out of this place.
Originally, the horizontal branch with the trunk. At the last bend a little rotation axis. It is too visible and disruptive.
I plan toto make a time correction - 1 gradually lift the top up. approximately 2cm. Then it will be a top line again. Or 2 - about 5 cm and the peak will be seen, but with all the branches. Or 3 - try to graft the branches in the desired locations on a tree trunk.
I hope you understand.(translate )
Best regards Pavel

Hi Martin.
Thank you for your coment.
The problem I have with the top of the tree described by Will. You can not force concept. The first bend is right and will see, but not as much as the virtuals. In later years, perhaps adjusted.

Hello Pavel. Yes I fully understand. I find approach grafting is quite easy and relatively quick with Scots Pine. Thanks for the explanation.

Re: Pinus sylvestris 2005 - "Transformations "
Hey Pavel,
When you made the cut into the wood to bend the trunk, did that healed and the wood fused or what happened? I'm just very interested that you did that and I just want to know what will result from that. Thanks.
