Can you please suggest nurseries near London for raw material/semi-trained bonsai? Alternatively, would you recommend online shopping?

Thank you,

Y.

There are several but the easiest way would be to have a look at the F.O.B.B.S. web site where you will find a list. It is never a good idea to buy unseen.

Thank you Geoff for your kind suggestion.

I had a look and it's a pretty extensive list; I was wondering which ones are more popular.

Thank you!

I only know two, Herons Bonsai and Lee Verhorverts. May have spelt that wrong. It depends what you want. I think they are all good. They all have plants from one or two years old up.

I have purchased from Kaizen and a couple of guys on Ebay. All were very good. and if you set yourself a top price and keep to it and are not in a hurry they are cheaper than Bonsai shops.
Lots of enthusiasts get bored with trees are find they have collected to many urbandori are usually really good buys. I have never been cheated m, in most cases the actual trees are much better in life than in the sales photographs

Thank you for your advice: I’ll check it out!

I live in the South-West part of London.

Kind regards,

South West London = first stop should be Herons in Lichfield if I were you. If you cant find something there then you are unlikely to find it anywhere!
