Mountain pine progression.
Hi. I'm new to the forum (I've posted an introduction to say Hi). I guess this post is my first official post.
Bought a small mountain pine from my local garden centre, took a deep breath and tried my first styling attempt.
Putting to one side the poor choice of pot, the rinky-dink wiring and the general unnatractiveness, my question is simple: how do I now keep this thing alive?

thats the thing to learn before repotting, pruning and wiring
but very few of us have done it in that order
be aware that it looks like you did ALOT to it in one go, so you may have a challenge keeping this one alive.
(future tip: dont do all 3 in the same growing season until you are aware of what the tree will tolerate)
shouldnt be too hard to get advise on the horticulture aspect for your climate...
plenty of UK folks here...
