you can make simple stands for your small stones within one hour by yourself
Hi, everybody,I here show my work to do simple stand for my small stones. I only start to do it only for one month,so I think you will do it better by yourself.

Put the stone on a paper and draw the shape of stand you will make and then cut the shape of paper.

Brush a little oil on the bottom of the stone

Use the tool and materials.

Extrude some materials on the bottom of stone.

Make the shape of stand with tool and materials

Connect the stone and base stand

Put off the stone

You can make the base stand more beautifully as you want.

Very unusual method, did you invent it your self or did some one show you how to do it? What sort of glue gun and glue did you use, is all glue that colour?
Thanks for showing us very interesting.

Hi,jungle Jas
I do it by myself. The material is a kind of hot glue with black color. Because I have many small stones and I am not good at making wooden stands without tools so I think and search for a simple method to do simple stands for my stones. I just only start to do it since last month and I think most of you can do it better than me.

Thanks for sharing, Riversoul. Are the stones permanently attached in the event you wish to carve wood seat later or remove a small stone for handling & sharing. Some temporary seats leach color into the porous stones but your hot glue appears unlikely to do that, which is great!

Inventive method!
Thank you for taking the time to share!
My question : after you take the stone off (from the first layer of glue to form the base) I wonder what do you do for the residue of the glue remaining on the surface of the stone

And presumably, the oil can be removed easily with a bit of soap and water. Looks like a great and inventive method to experiment with, to me. Well done!
