Eugenia bonsai going dull
Hey there I'm new to the forum. I have had my Eugenia for about a year now and it just recently started to go dull the new growth has gone black and dry and it's not looking to hot. The new growth and tips are dying and it's starting to work it's way down the branches. It did get quite dry but I don't think it was totally dry. It gets a few hours of direct sun and the room is very bright nothing has changed condition wise. It hasn't been sunny lately and it did go a bit dry. Any help is greatly appreciated I tried to post a pic of it but I'm not sure how. Thanks in advance

Howdy there. Pics would really help. It sounds like a substrate problem. It may have bad breathing capabilities and then you let it get too dry and the roots couldn't handle it. Best to do now is keep it in the same bright place and don't let it get bone dry but not wet either. Perhaps take it out of the pot and place it into something larger with something that breathes well like pumice. This is all just a guess though without any pictures of what it looks like and what it's growing in.
