Fockea edulis - I Bonsai'd a Bulb!

Yes, folks it really is a bulb. Fockea edulis is also known as a type of Caudiciform from Africa. I really liked bulb now tree when I saw it the nursery. The tree is in its first stage of development. I know some people might not like it, but one must keep an open mind about new species. There are more and better photos on my Website shown below.

Yes, there will probably be detractors but I like it. Caudiciforms are very interesting.

Good question. I am trying to treat it like a cactus, but it does have leaves and will drop them in the fall. To much water is not good for them. Right now internodes are really long. It is sitting under a florescent light.
