White Cedar Design Help
Hello all I have not posted much on here but I have a White Cedar (Thuja Occidentalis) that I collected this spring. I am not sure on a few things about it's design. Unsure if I will keep the deadwood spire, if the pot fits correctly, if I should hide some of the right trunk/root. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Re: White Cedar Design Help
I think I would keep the deadwood spire and also make the apex further up along the spire which would break the foliage into 3 major areas rather than the two you drew. This would probably require a slightly longer pot to the right for balance.
Your sketch is a very nice tree, but it is similar to a lot of other trees. Keeping the spire and extending the line would create a more unique tree.
