Wiegela Florida Sunny Fantasy
Hello all,
I am new here and a newbie bonsai making enthusiast. Please give me some insights on the pic of my Wiegela Florida Sunny Fantasy. I bought it bare leaf from a closing down plant nursery and it was in upright position. Had it planted in slanting position. As it is springtime here, then it sprouted variegated leaves and some flowers. Any suggestion to improve its look? Thanks.

Mano welcome.
Our first task is to learn to not only keep a plant alive (many years) but to have it thrive. And perhaps the most difficult is to learn patience. Because this is a living art, the horticulture art of bonsai takes years and not hours to develop a bonsai.
So that being said you need to learn to keep this young tree thriving as it appears to be. And you need to be selective of the information you get off of the internet. Unfortunately there are many "experts" who are not even able to keep a tree alive for a year. You will soon learn which websites have experienced bonsai artist and which, like Facebook, that most post are very questionable. Also search out a bonsai club you can attend -- it is the best source of information and mentoring.
Again welcome.
