I am still working on this bougainvillea. Please feel free to share picture of your  giant bougainvillea bonsai here.

Now I've seen it all!

East Coast, and it's just 3 year old from a cutting.  

That is a nice giant rooted cutting there Van.  It is difficult for us to grow cutting that big here in our area do to cold in winter and dry heat in summer. Most of the time we would go for air layering.

Brother Johnny has killed two and I've off'd three! This is the only one we've been able to have thrive/stay alive!!

pink pixie will never have that kind of impact, which is why I really would prefer
a - Cloth of Gold [ also called California Gold ]

It is also the ageing of the vibrant colour to that weak yuck, that prevents me from really trying
to grow a Bougainvillea.
Cloth of Gold I can handle [ read tolerate ]

I would prefer an Azalea ------- zonal envy.

Not to fuss I will find something local in the jungle ------- one day
