Big Thank You to John Gean Angel !
Memories of Winter in Philadelphia, London and Florence. Great work!!
Was that a dead scissors in the earlier showing of a pot ?
The purple - Viburnum ?
First tree, great to see a thick lower branch, much like our trees down here.
Just in case anyone reading didn't know for the months of January, February, until around May / June, our trees will drop leaves, though only for a month to a few weeks. Not all are evergreen.
Laters.

Yes the scissors were a purposeful placement that you only noticed if you looked closely.... But, I have to admit that I have found a pair or two like that in my garden:)
The plant with the purple fruit I believed is called beauty berry??? could be wrong about that...

John G is right; that was a beauty berry, Callicarpa I think. Here are 3 photos of the display I was "involved" in. It was a very difficult display to photograph (and the upload really smushed the dynamic range and the images look too dark on here) and I would have gotten more images if I wasn't working my behind off photographing all the trees with Joe Noga all weekend.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

John,
Thank you for the beautiful video, great trees and displays.
(FWIW to the group - Callicarpa dichotoma is a great plant to train for bonsai, strong grower and very reliable producer of fruit.)
Best to all,
Augustine

Here are a couple of quick photos. First we have the huge slab, 7 backbreaking rocks and a bunch of junipers (opps I mean boxwoods. But is was a great afternoon.
Here is the before when the design concept has been finalized.
And here after using no soil, just sphagnum moss, and several trays of moss is the landscape ready for its trip to a final resting place.

Thanks for posting John.
Btw - with birthday money I bought a killer Wakaebisu azalea from a nursery. The next thing I did was refer to your Youtube videos on azaleas. Great stuff.
Thanks again
