I like it too.
It looks much bigger, if it wasn't for your hand I would think it was at least 45cm high.
Love and light

I love it, so small, and the flowers are bright, but in proportion. Very nice, wish we had easy access to this species in USA. Have not seen one yet here.

Hi
Yours seem to be very slow growing. Anyway nice to see that grow well. You can propagate by airlayering. It is very easy to give roots then grow on the ground for free growing.
In Viet Nam too many nurseries and farmmers are growing many type of desmodium sofar. Since yamadories in wild life have been hunting nearly to end....

Hi Qui,
I live in Florida, the warmest state of the US main land but in winter there are a few nights that can dip into sub-zero. Being the tropical species, it goes semi-dormant in the winter and sometimes dropping leaves and stunt the growth. My next door neighbor is a chicken lover, which attract rodents, particularly rats, to eat the left over from the chickens. Sometimes they need veggie supplement and came over to my garden, did not know rats love to chew on desmodium's bark. As you can see from the bottom of the trunk, one rat did some serious carving at the base, which set back the tree for more than a year. lost 5 other trees from the same batch of seeds because of too much carving.
