air layering acacia
After completing the air layer of a backyard acacia, it is time for cutting. Since I air layered near the bottom of the tree and no green growth for 4 ft. Is it ok to cut the air layer and then chop the branch leaving nothing but a stick with no leaves?

Re: air layering acacia
I'd gather that not until layer has survived cut and got established
