Great stuff, looks convincing. after you blow torched towards the end, you used a smaller tool, was it a rotary wire brush? what stains did you apply to the Uro's and the tree?

Thank you Bobbylane ,
Yes I did use wire brush with the aid of Dremel tool , but didn't use any kind of stain, I just washed the tree after carving and it was wet at the time .
Thanks again.

MC, I really love the work you do, after watching you do the demo last month at my club (SCBK) and the examples you had on display I was really impressed. Keep up the great work.

Very well done. Great result and believable. Trying some engraving to but im having problems. Wondering what engraving tools you used. I use a dremel with HSS burrs but it clogs up to much. Have to get the right stuff but don't see much around here in New Zealand. I can import from the States if I knew what im looking for. Perhaps a photo or two....?

Fredman1, sorry for delay and late reply, I use Dremel with carbide bit and a Makita for bigger jobs I use the bits I bought from Graham potter (Kaizen bonsai) and from Rudy Spanko (Slovakia)fredman1 wrote:Very well done.
