New Years Bonsai
Well for New Years Eve I'm planning on getting out a bottle (maybe two) of good Red Wine maybe a Merlot and going out into the garage where I have most of my better Saikei, Penjing and a few Bonsai Wintering in...
I'll put on some really good Retro Jazz from the 60's, 70's, Joe Pass, Barney Kessle, Oscar Peterson, others...and proceed to get High and think about my 2015 Bonsai Gardening year....Too Old to do much else.
Anyone else...???

might as well throw some oscar brown junior on the turntable while you are at it...
and topically speaking: "somebody buy me a drink" is an incredible track
david - dont feel bad... seeing the crack of midnight is over-rated when theres rad stuff to do in the daylight !
last time i made it to midnight on new years eve was 1999
and the world didnt come to a grinding Y2K halt so i then went to bed

I hope we can still talk?? Please be carefull about the two bottles of wine and a cold garage. Falling asleep buzzed on wine is a dangerous thing to do in the cold. Happy New Year to you and yours and good luck with your trees, I really do care.

Just finished replacing power sockets, doorhandles etc in our 1932 house. Last stages of renovation. Now a nice bottle of red is open, and my wife and I are sitting next to the fireplace. Bonsai.. Outside in the rain? nope. Not happening. Next year again.

That sounds really fantastic, I'm jealous and envious....I love Old things, used to be into the Craftsman style houses of our,USA, 1930's but have moved on...Condo now.
