some new year's displays posted here in advance of the february timing for the year of the Ram (sheep).
Love to see Toko, but seki is fine too

This year all my display stuff is boxed and stored in anticipation of a move, so can't participate myself.

I found this display in a window in Kyoto...the use of white sand and small rocks in diffrent sices is to the oldest tradition in boseki....was used also for the old bonseki, that was photographed in a tray, for the poster of the exhibition in Tokyo this year.



Hope you like it ...I have still not come arround to make a display my self, have had too much else on my mind...will post if I do.
