You folks had a productive day; very nice styling and presentation. I particularly like Chris' cascade, very inventive. I find that wiring my trees, before repotting, if I already have the style in mind, is easier to manage and saves time. And, this is probably less stressful to the tree, particularly with new cascade "subjects"; the cascade pots are not very steady and sometimes require an extra set of hands to keep it steady. I wish our club had a venue like yours!

thanks again for more inspiration...

and yes, after speaking with leo saturday nite and realizing i didnt take celcius into account,
i just did some simple pruning to the one i have in the ground...

if i have it in the garage by next winter, i will use that time to do some major work on it as it will have a nice pot of roots by then too.

Every Sunday is an open Bonsai workshop, plus this is the home of Dragon Bonsai society
