Thread grafting casuarina

Hi everybody, I,v been out of touch for a while, I,v been back to England for a year so all my trees need lots of work . But I read Dorothy's thread on progression of a casuarina and somebody asked if threadgrafts take on them or not but I cannot see a reply. So do they take or not ?. I,v got a big old yamadori casuarina that never sends out a shoot exactly where I need one . Regards john
