I just want you to know that I am absolutely loving all of your posts about native Brazilian trees. They are so fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing these trees that I have never heard of or seen before!

Hi,
We have this species in India too. Commonly called Custard Apple. We normally do not use this for bonsai because of the large leaf size.

Hi Rakesh
Do the leaves reduce with normal defoliating methods like those applied on ficus?

Yes they do with no problems. Did you never try it to make the leaf smaller.
Try it. But before you do so keep in mind that your tree should be very healty.
