Old stone new daiza
I found this stone about ten years ago on the Sacramento River near Red Bluff while on a canoe trip. It has a natural flat bottom. Its been sitting on my bench all this time and I finally got the urge to carve it a daiza.

While I'll agree that squarish shaped feet seem out of sinc with the round movement of the stone, I feel that total removal of feet
may not be in the best interest either of displaying your find. In other words, just as they teach us to find a proper pot for our bonsai
that creates a unity with the tree and not a distraction, the daiza does the same purpose and I think the feet are needed to make that unity statement. Their shape and prominence need to be adjusted.
