Shimpaku Juniper - is it dead? Empty Shimpaku Juniper - is it dead?

Hi everyone - I went away for vacation for about 2 weeks last fall, and didn't arrange someone to take care of it.

When I was home, the plant was covered in I believe some kind of mini spider webs. I sprayed water and got rid of them.

But the leaves seem to be turning browner, and the leaves fall off easily. Having said that, I do see some new needles coming out too.

Is this plant dead? Any recommendation to save it?

Please click on link above for the picture.

thank you!

Hate to say it. But it's a goner. Sorry.

Yup. Try again, and be a bit more concerned about your trees when you leave for more than a couple of days.
