is silver oak or silk oak good for bonsai

Has someone tried silver oak as bonsai.
And source of information on bonsai if any.
I have read it us drout resistant. It is used some where in australia as binsai.

Silver Oak
That's Grevillea robusta, not an oak at all. Yes it is used for bonsai. There are some pictures on the Web. Apparently it is very tough. Try it.

Yeah silky oak (never heard silver before) is Grevillea robusta. What do you want links to? Type it into your search engine of choice and there is plenty out there on the species. Or do you want examples as bonsai?
