Do most oaks respond well to trunk chopping?
I am considering buying some nursery stock oak trees (they have several varieties to choose from), however, after looking I think I would like to truck chop most of the ones they have available. Wondering if this would kill them, and if not what kind of back budding I could expect. Thanks, James

Yes. They will bud back as long as leave their roots alone.
