Re: Bonsai is cruelity ???
md4958,
yes, I agree Kevin's response could easily make him into the posterman for IBC.
Well thought out, simple and effective!
However, have you nothing to add ?
I am trying to make sure we [ IBC ] don't end up with that silly button you see on other forums, press and thank you's show up, but no knowledge or opinions [ good/bad or poor] show up.
Later.

Not much actually. When I was reading the first page of posts, the same exact thought went trough my head. Is it really necessary to write the same thought in somebody else's wording? Kev Bailey said it best, and I agreed.Khaimraj Seepersad wrote:md4958,

Re: Bonsai is cruelity ???
Interesting read.
I was thinking of this when I was looking at my whole collection of recently collected raw material (just got back into bonsai early this year). 95% of the trees I have would have been dead if I had not have been interested in bonsai. These range from a hedge I saved from a skip to collected material from a field where a road is due to be constructed.
One of my professional activities is commercial horticulture and we produce plants every year with the knowledge that these will die and customers will come back every year for more (seasonal bedding plants). Are we feeding a cruel market?
