It's so pretty i hope this will grow fast and give some good taste in the fruits, actually these cherry plants are really rare for giving some good fruits they need some serious care.

Is that a M.glabra [ the edible high c fruit ] or a M.punicifolia [ weeping cherry and I don't think you can eat the fruit ?

Here we go Russell,

http://www.ntbg.org/plants/plant_details.php?plantid=7316

Never seen this on the island - weeping [ I don't think the fruit is edible ] malpighia.
http://justbonsaitrees.com/bonsai-boys-flowering-dwarf-weeping-barbados-cherry-bonsai-tree-malpighia-pendiculata/

Note the confusion - From Bonsai Boy - The round inedible fruits are borne singly or in 2's or 3's and are bright red with glossy skin. The fruit is very juicy and extremely high in ascorbic acid.

I have personally grown the Bonsai Boy type as an Indoor Bonsai, easy as pie shrub.
Later.
