Re: Peter Adams' illness
The good news did not last long.. Rest in peace, Peter. Conolences to friends and family.
Kate Adams' facebook entry:
I am so sorry to report that Peter died suddenly, but peacefully, in his sleep last Sunday, November 24.
It was very unexpected, we had just enjoyed a marvellous visit together on Saturday and he drew a sketch of me as I sat there.
His death has been so very hard to accept, especially since we planned to leave for home together next Monday, December 2.
There will be a memorial at a later date. Details will be advised on this page. His ashes will come home with me soon.
I miss him so very terribly.

Oh my! So many hopes dashed. I'm sure Ms. Adams has a lot of support from the UK bonsai community.

Condolences
An artist I have admired since I began bonsai over 30+ years ago. His books, vision, and artistry were incredible, whether it be with pen, or with trees themselves. I was scheduled to host him at my garden for a private session here in Florida when he became ill. My biggest bonsai regret is that I did not get to actually meet Peter and Kate. May he rest in peace knowing what an impact he has had on our artform. My sincerest condolences to Kate and the Family.

I guess the best thing I can do in respect is buy one of his books, and I did.
