Where to find good bonsai trees?
Im looking to start another project, and im thinking that buying an already grown bonsai to start out with, seeing as how im quite a newbie at this bonsai thing... Do any of you have any suggestions at places to go for this? The nurseries in town are kind of a joke for this kind of thing, so im drifting towards online vendors... Dont know any place that's good about shipping these trees, as i've bought one tree off the internet and wasn't really pleased! any insight in this department would be greatly appreciated!

Eric your best bet is to find a bonsai club and join. There you can find out what trees do well in your climate (what part of NM are you in?) and which trees spark your interest. Many time members have some trees for sale or the club has auctions. As for trees available on-line it would be best to know what species and price range you would be wanting - then there will be an overwhelming amount of advise sent your way. Welcome and the best.
